| The simplest form of flexible joints in un-restrained condition used widely in
straight/oblong piping runs duly anchored to absorb logitudinal displacements. A pair of
these bellows in conjuction - A dual expansion joint is specified when axial movement
caused by thermal expansion is larger than can be absorbed by a single bellow unit, dual
units are supplied with a centre base which serves as an intermediate anchor when the unit
is installed in a section of pipe dual anchored. Axial joints can also absorb lateral
displacements. |
