| For angular movements in one plane Hinge joints are used
either single, or in conjunction. Hinges (forks ) placed 180° apart are designed to
restrain pressure-thrust and other external loads, thus by give support to the units.
These joints connected with the centerspool called as "Double Hinge" capable of
absorbing lateral displacements in one place restraining the pressure-thrust. This design
is very effective with respect to pressure-thrust absorbtion, limited guiding and
intermediate anchors. Prevention of torsion support to dead weight and low forces on
piping system. |
